Mohan Kulkarni (Ph.D. candidate AE), who is co-advised by Prof. Geubelle and myself, won the student presentation competition in the material modeling specialty area at the 9th US National Congress on Computational Mechanics (USNCCM9) in San Francisco. Congratulations Mohan!

The paper with his winning work will appear in Journal of the Mechanics and Physics of Solids (JMPS).
